Long Time, No Posts

Sorry about the hiatus. This is a onesie card that I made for Challenge #2 over at Strawberryland TownSquare. I always thought that these would be hard and would take a long time, but they are very easy and take just a few minutes. Thanks for the inspiration, Ronnie!

Simple Baby Card and Frugal Tip

I made this simple baby card for a friend at work. It's a smaller size than the usual 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Why? Well.... it my plight to be every so frugal, I started buying dirt cheap cards at yard sales. I give the cards to some little girls at church to play with and I keep the envelopes. Then, I use my scrap cardstock pieces that are leftover from scrapbooking to make cards that fit the envelopes.

I haven't been keeping up with my blog at all.... so sorry! Here is a quick card I put together using a Stampin Up retired image. I have featured this image on my blog before, but on a different card. I should have lots of new stuff to share during the week, so keep checking back.

In time for Valentine's Day, here's an anniversary card. I love how the colors together look soft and serene. I've been mailing a lot of cards lately and realized that I need to replenish my stash with anniversary and birthday cards. Something For My Valentine

I hope everyone is enjoying this awesome weekend weather we are having.

This card is for the Stamp Something Challenge Blog. The challenge this week is to simply make something for your Sweetie - a card, gift, or anything. I made this card using a retired Stampin Up set called "Olive You" and a heart stubbby stamp from Stamps By Judith. The ribbon is from the Target Dollar Spot. It's a clean and simple card design.

The Lord is Always With me...

I made this card for a friend that is going through a very painful divorce. My heart breaks for her and I so wish that I could do more.... that I had the right words to say...or something. Prayer is powerful, so I pray for her. The picture came out all fuzzy. Sorry about that!
